Privacy
Showpiece Tools is run by Showpiece (showpiece.agency), San Diego, California. This page says what the app stores and what it does with it, in plain words.
What we store
- Your login email. It is the only credential. We send a sign-in link to it through Resend, our email provider; no password exists anywhere.
- Your workspace. Business name, logo, address, phone, email, currency, invoice terms and numbering. These appear on the invoices you create.
- Your inventory. The items you add, upload by CSV, or import from eBay, including your cost, which is private to you and never printed on an invoice.
- Your invoices and buyers. The buyer's name, email, phone and address you type, the lines, totals and status, and the PDF we generate. A buyer's email is used only to deliver the invoice you send.
What we do with it
- We run the app for you. Your data sits in a database on a server we control, backed up daily, and is never sold or shared with other dealers.
- When you send an invoice, it goes to the buyer through Resend from a Showpiece address, with your business name as the sender name and your email as the reply-to.
- When you import from eBay we query eBay's public Browse API with the seller name you give us. Nothing is written to eBay.
- Showpiece is a marketing agency for dealers. When you sign up, your business name, email, the number of items you keep here and the brands you carry go into our own CRM (HubSpot) and our prospect list, so we know who uses the tool and may reach out once about our services. Reply "no" to any such email and we will not write again. Your buyers' details, your costs and your prices never leave the app.
Cookies
One cookie keeps you signed in for 30 days; one short-lived cookie carries a status message between pages. No analytics, no advertising cookies.
Your choices
Export your inventory as CSV any time from the Inventory page. To delete your workspace and everything in it, email hello@showpiece.agency from your login address and it is gone within 7 days.
